Stormy weather at the lake

As I didn’t go to the lake during the whole past week, I decided on Sunday that I had to make up for it. The weather wasn’t great but it was still ok. When it was actually time to go though, the rain was pouring. But my mind was set. I was going to the lake no matter what. I put my rain boots on and off I went!

yes, I love them only because they’re pink, so what? haha

In the bus, the weather was already changing. The rain was slowly stopping and the sun was coming out. The bus journey is only 20 minutes but when I arrived, the weather wasn’t like the one I left earlier. Like nothing alike.

The weather kept changing second after second. I couldn’t resist but taking loads of pictures, so enjoy!

At this point, we couldn’t see much of the mountains
the waves were crazy!
slowly, the mountains appeared
I thought it was the Apocalypse at this point…

Here’s 2 videos I took that day as well :

I stayed at the lake for about an hour and I was lucky enough it didn’t rain despite those big grey clouds. It was really cold though as the sun was playing hide and seek with the clouds!

All pictures were taken by me in Pully, Switzerland.

Water calls to me like nothing else! Something so serene about watching the ebb and flow! That in reference to not just the tide but the weather too. Beautiful photos!
