New Year, new blog?

Well, I hadn’t plan things to turn out this way… like, not at all. But this is what it is.

Shall I first say hello and welcome maybe?

Done.

So here I am on my new blog after having started one in November 2018. Yes, less than 2 months ago.

The truth is I absolutely messed up. I wanted to move my blog from Godaddy to here, on WordPress as I didn’t like many things about blogging on Godaddy. My biggest issue was that I couldn’t have a comment section. It is one of the most basic function you need to have when you blog so I was really disappointed. But I didn’t want to loose my previous blog posts so I tried to transfer my blog let’s just say I messed up to the point I couldn’t even access to my blog anymore.

So I decided to start all over. I deleted my “old” blog ans started this one.

I was kind of sad and annoyed when I realised I messed up and “had to” start again. But I was happy as well. A fresh start for 2019. That sounds delicious, I’ll have some of that please.

Luckily for me, I had my previous blog posts saved on Word so you can find them just here.

Also a quick description of my person for the new people over here or just a recap’ : I’m Anaïs, 24 yo; French is my mother tongue but I’m in love with the Shakespeare language so don’t blame for my mistakes.

I can’t finish this post without wishing you all a Happy New Year 2019! Tell me how you spent your New Year’s Eve in the comments section.

“New year — a new chapter, new verse, or just the same old story? Ultimately we write it. The choice is ours.”

Alex Morrit

With love, Anaïs

  1. So glad to see your blog on WordPress now! I can’t believe Godaddy wouldn’t let you have a comment section. I had no idea French was your first language that’s amazing, I didn’t even realise!
My new year was spent ice skating in the Natural History Museum in London hehe x

  3. Hi! Before anything else, I just want to let you know that I am so grateful that you took time to read my blog post ‘A Starter Pack for a Drama Called Life’. Thank you so much!

I only used wordpress ever since but it’s actually good that you get to try others cos that way, you proved to yourself that you really want to make a blog and I can see passion right there. It’s good that you found your way here! Knowing that your mother tongue is French amazes me. I mean I always had the impression that French is not an easy language to learn but I love ittt. Lastly, new year I guess is another cue for me to refresh and look back on my actions to see what I have to change and so that I could improve myself for the better. This blog of yours is short but sweet. All the best 💕

  4. Happy New Year! I spent NYE with a few of my friends and a few strangers, yet it was definitely one of the best nights of 2018. Your new blog is looking absolutely great and I can’t wait to follow you on this journey ❤

  5. French is such a gorgeous language! If I could choose to speak another language fluently, I’d definitely choose that! Your English is very good, so don’t worry about that at all, and good luck with your blog! ❤️❤️
